Quality management software without the binders
Inspections, non-conformances, complaints and corrective actions in one system. Audit ready at any time instead of two weeks of preparation.
The quality manual is immaculate. So is the shadow system next to it
Many plants run a clean quality system on paper and a second, informal one on the shop floor: notes, spreadsheets, shouted instructions and a binder per topic.
The two agree once a year, shortly before the certification audit. That preparation reliably costs weeks and produces no quality at all, only evidence.
Quality management software earns its place when the two become one: when the inspector on the floor works in the same system the audit report comes out of.
What the software does
Six parts that turn documentation into a working quality system.
Inspections and quality checks
Incoming, in-process and final inspection with readings and photos, captured on a device instead of on forms.
Non-conformances and complaints
Internal non-conformances and customer complaints in the same flow, from report to closure.
CAPA with effectiveness checks
Corrective and preventive actions with owner, deadline and a later effectiveness review. Not just an action list.
Root cause analysis built in
5 Whys, Ishikawa and 8D on the case itself, rather than in a separate template nobody finds again.
Metrics instead of a folder
Defect rate, response time, open actions and on-time closure per area, generated from the captured data.
Audit ready without a fire drill
Evidence and reports exportable at any time. Preparing for ISO 9001 or IATF drops from weeks to hours.
Quality control for an entire industry
Q4me was built with DEHOGA Nordrhein: digital quality control for hotels and restaurants, including HACCP.
Businesses run every check digitally, stay audit ready and save considerable time on documentation. The same approach carries into industry: at Magna Powertrain, digitising inspection, non-conformance and action end to end saves 2,500 hours a year.
Read the full storyThe questions that decide the purchase
The feature list does not decide it. Where the data sits and how long the rollout takes does.
On-premise or EU cloud
You decide where the data lives. Run it on our EU servers or entirely in your own data centre. GDPR compliant either way.
Works without a network
In the plant, in the basement, on site. The app keeps working offline and syncs as soon as there is a connection again.
Your ERP stays where it is
We do not replace existing systems. Interfaces push data into your ERP, your quality system or your BI reporting.
Rollout in weeks
Not a year-long project. At Reiter Antennenbau the solution ran after one month, at Kunze after a few days.
Frequently asked questions
What does quality management software cost?
Price depends on the number of users and the scope. We give you a concrete number for your case in the first call.
Does it support ISO 9001 and IATF 16949?
Yes. Inspection plans, non-conformances, CAPA and audit evidence cover the requirements of both. Structures for VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5 and Automotive SPICE exist as well.
Does this replace our quality manual?
No. The manual describes how you intend to work. The software runs those workflows and produces the evidence as a by-product.
Can we build our own inspection plans?
Yes. You configure characteristics, rating scales and non-conformance rules yourself, per product or process.
Where is our quality data stored?
On our EU servers or entirely on-premise in your own data centre. Magna Powertrain uses the on-premise option.
How quickly is it usable?
For a defined area, within a few weeks. Rollout scope depends on how many inspection plans are migrated.
